I file a short term disability claim with this company through my job at CTA. I followed their instructions I went to my doctor three days after I went into the sick book. I went to my doctor on 04/05 and my doctor listened to my heart and took blood pressure and then referred me to a cardiovascular doctor because I went to the hospital 2 weeks before i went into the sick book for severe heart pain. The hospital did an EKG and took blood. They found nothing wrong with my heart. My cardiovascular doctor did an EKG and found out that my heart beats faster than it's suppose too. She told me I needed to do a stress test and an echo with a depo. I am waiting on my referral through my insurance company. Sedgwick told me that my doctor statement doesn't support my claim. So what am I going to do I don't have any money and I am behind on my bills due to the fact that they denied my claim.
