1st Refund Request March 19 Called spoke to Robert Manager
2nd Refund Request March Called again spoke to Robert told come sign form to get refund
3rd Refund Request March 29 went to store, requested form to sign given a the same bill print out. Would not give me form to sign
4th Refund Request Went on line submitted request head quarters
5th Refund Request Went on line again submitted refund request and complaint
6st Refund Request Went on line again to check emails for response each day to no avail
7th Refund Request I called April 10 Spoke to Stepanie L/M Susan Belcher Supervisor
8th Refund Request I called April 12 Spoke to Sue L/M Susan Belcher Supervisor I actually spoke to her and she pretended she was Sue and would transfer me to Susan Belcher

I would like to contact customer service regarding Robert one of the managers. I first contacted him less than 24 hours of purchase when I realized I would be charged $269 each piece when I only needed the mattress. Than I found out that one mattress would still cost me over $498. Robert then lowered the price to $369 when I told him that was too expensive for one piece. However, he assured me that I would get a refund. I asked to come in to get refund Robert stated it would be placed back into my bank account or I could place a stop payment on the account when in fact the check was still sitting in the office in the A.M. The next day when I called. The check did not clear for 4-5 days after I made down payment. He informed me it would take 10 days to obtain refund, then today I drove 60 miles round trip he did not give me my refund or get me to sign a form as he stated would take place. But rather asked my address, changed it and handed me a print out of receipt then stated in a rather rude and toned voice that it would take 10-14 and I would have to come into the office to pick it up. I requested that the check be mailed directly to me when I visited the office, then he said the 10 days began today for refund not on the 3/19 the day I called but the day he actually saw me because customers have been know to change their minds when fact I was adamate about finding a less expensive mattress and could not afford the expensive price for a mattress without a box spring. I feel that I have been treated unprofessional, lied to three times about the process of refund. I would rather deal with another company before I order from American Freight again if I am going to receive this type of treatment. I am not ignorant by a long shot and I am well aware of professional and non-professional conduct. I hope the Ocala staff I dealt with never gets this type of toxic attitude toward customers. I did not have this problem on my last layaway years ago. Thank you for contacting us.

My address is 7650 N.E. 182nd Terrace, Williston, Florida and I am requesting my refund be mailed immediately or I will contact the BBB and consumer complaint board to this matter if not received by Thursday or Friday of this week TODAY is Monday, April 8.12:08 P.M.
