Westside Kia
Consumer Report

Three days before everything went wrong, my husband had to bring in an Optima Turbo vehicle into the Kia service dealership department. The problem my husband discovered is that the turbo had gone out. He noticed the problem because of the sound we continuously heard for five months off and on became louder. When he left the vehicle, the service department kept stating something about when was the last time the oil was changed. Even though my husband changed the oil consistently, the service department only had records to show he only changed his oil twice in a year and half of having the car. Then, we walked to the back to grab our items out of the car and noticed three of the same model of the same vehicle was in progress for maintenance. So, my husband and I came to the conclusion to get another vehicle. When we spoke to a salesman about the situation and told him we would rather get another car and let Kia figure out that mess with the turbo, they started the paperwork and finalized the sale that night. So, we signed the contracts that were given and was given one set of keys. We were given an option to make a comment on the sale. Then, they cleaned the car and send us on our way with a full tank of gas. We went back to the dealership to pick up the keys and to empty out the old car and my husband was told to come on the next days for the keys, because the old turbo that had 34,000 miles with an extended contract is questionable. Now, I the wife goes to the dealership to pick up the keys and was told by the same salesman that some paperwork may have to be changed before we get the keys and then also suggested that we made a complaint with Kia customer service. I explained to him that wasn't true, but all the while games were still being played. So, he told me to finalize the sale on monday. We asked him, are their any changes in the cost for the car? He replied back with, if anything it should be a better price. We returned back on Monday, not knowing what was in their sneaky plans. Keep note we purchased a total of four cars from this dealership and this is how we are treated at the end. First the guy ask for the contract and stated that wasn't a real contract. Then, he told us because they only show records we only changed our oil twice according to their records they are incapable of fixing the car. Even though we have an extended warranty on the car and only 34,000 miles in the car. So, they blocked the car with other cars surrounding the car and demanded for their keys back. Then, we reminded them we still have a legal contract in possession and with their signature. The dealership was so dirty, they wouldn't even fix the car under warranty. So, we are looking for a very good lawyer to sue this place. Now it's not just business, now it is personal.
