Twice I tried to buy groceries at walmart and my check was declined by telecheck. I rushed to my bank the first time, only to find out we had plenty of funds in the bank and there was no problem. Feeling greatly relieved and thinking it was just a glitch in the system, I went back again to try and buy groceries a week later, again my check was declined by telecheck. I called the number given on telecheck and they stated I had an invalid account number. My bank then called them, Ft. Campbell Credit Union in Clarksville, TN, told them everything was fine, they said they needed to verify with me. Again when I called them they told me I had an invalid account number even after my bank called. WE spent 45 minutes with telecheck and my bank in a conference call. They finally removed the block. A block for no reason that deprived me of purchasing goods I needed for almost two weeks.
