Spirit Airlines advertises low rates, then added fees for every step after the initial purchase. I purchased a ticket to be told later that I must purchase a seat or wait for an available seat. Then I was told there would be an extra charge for my bags. When I reached the airport, after paying for two bags to check on the plane, I was told that my carry-on bag would cost $50, even though my bag was the proper size for ever other air craft carrier I fly (I fly often). Once on the plane I learned that a glass of water was unavailable and it would cost me $2 for a bottle of water with a cup. The ice was free. I was told by the young lady next to me that there is a fee to print you boarding pass for Spirit Air at the airport... Thank goodness I had printed my own. I will never travel with Spirit Airlines again.
