Consumer Report

I found their website saying the were support for Acer and I needed an adapter, and they had a special; if purchased and overpriced adapter for $89.99 they would send me a rebate for that amount in less than 30 days. I guessed this offer and I was told due to this plan; I got a service of tech support for 30 days, and I could get a new battery as well. After this shocking news, I gave me cc number, and was assured by Dianna in the OK office that I would be send a confirmation email explaining the rebate to guarantee this offer. The email did not come, so I call a number and they were to transfer me to the OK and after holding 15 minutes learned from Shawna that I did not buy an adapter, I had purchased tech support for $99.00, so I began to try and reach Dianna in the OK office and it took 11 tries. Once I got there she was on the phone, so I said then get me to a supervisor, but just after a 4 minute wait, she came on to explain she was ever so sorry for the mix up, and she was going to get the email in writing as confirmation, and will personally take care of this. She was going to be in the office on Friday at 9 AM and would take care of it. I was please, and said that I would need for her to call me between 10-11 AM at 11:07 she had not called and no email. As I reached again after 8 tries the OK office learned that the A Team's schedule did not work on Friday/Saturday and have their schedules in advanced, so I got supervisor in B Team. A person named Devena, and after she researched the problem was going to call me back in 15 minutes. One hour later, no call, so I called 11 times to get Devena, who was conveniently on the phone, and "HER BOSS;" Michelle comes on and after a much heated conversation on the unprofessional business practice, she review my transaction as I told her a battery was part of the package and I had given my sku numbers for my computer and my battery, so why would I do that if I was not receiving a battery too. The boss tells me that Dianna had LIED to me. She also said I would have to talk to billing to get this straightened out on the cost of tech support, and not for an adapter. I told her, one of her employees made this mistake, and I needed for her to straighten this mess out. I needed billing to send me a refund and an email confirming that it was done, as I have spent way too much time on the phone, and this was after I had waited 15 minutes as she looked up the transaction number, because had Devena called me back in the "15 minutes as promised, " I could have given it, but I was now getting my hair cut. I never got an email saying I got my refund, and I learned from my Credit Card not only had there been a charge on the 3/5 there was a "check mark, " saying I wanted to continue this charge every month. That was a lie from H*. I did learn that your CC is monitoring this fraudulent charge, and they will not allow one cent for over a year from this company on my card, as they will try again and again. Now I will be reporting them to the Atty General in OK, FL, and IL. Contact the Secret Service Police, FTC, and the BBB.
