I have a 1999 Ford F-150 with 5.4 engine that has 192,000 miles on it and is serviced regularly. I work for Ford at the Kansas City Assembly Plant and am upset with the repetative problem of spark plugs blowing out of the factory aluminum cylinder heads. First was the 7th cylinder, then the 8th cylinder and now the 1st cylinder. Each time I have had to pay an enormous amount to get them repaired at an independent automotive garage. After doing some research online and checking with several Ford dealers, this was a common TSB Ford problem that Ford knew about but sold the product to customers anyway. Pathetic.
