I am thoroughly disgusted and embittered with Ford Motor Co. I am the owner of a 2005 Ford Escape. (the LAST Ford vehicle I will EVER purchase!) My vehicle has 104,000 miles on it, and while I expect regular wear and tear on a vehicle, what has occurred has nothing to do with regular wear and tear! After researching the issue, I learned that over 400 other people have had the same problem! Seems the geniuses at Ford are unable to engineer a vehicle that is sound and SAFE!!! The coil over the plug, took out the ENTIRE computer system in my car, to the tune of $2700.!!! Seriously Ford? You people put the wrong spark plugs in this car, and you KNEW after so many miles, it would do this! Add, that to be replaced, you have to purchase Ford parts and VOILA! Ford makes a profit AGAIN!!! I am one person, but I can assure you... I WILL talk, and dissuade ANYONE I know from buying a Ford product!!! I purchase American, and this is what I get? A piece of garbage!!! Thanks Ford... You guys are swell!!!
