My family and I have driven nothing but Ford vehicles, since 1982. At present, my immediate family own 4 F-150's and an Expedition. Each one of the vehicles we own have a Triton 4.6L engine. Three have the 2- valve versions. 2 out of 5 (40%) of these Triton engines have experienced Spark Plugs being blown out of the cylinder heads, within the past 12 months. The latest, my 2008 F-150 4.6L 2-valve, not only blew out the plug, but the factory installed spark plug broke causing 2 pieces, the center electrode and the ground electrode to fall into the cylinder which resulted in immediate bent valves on this #3 cylinder. I have since researched this apparent design flaw and found many published articles that confirm Ford's design flaw only having 4 threads in the aluminum head that hold the plug in place. Even Ford published TSB 07-21-2 admitting this design flaw and the recomended fix to the problem!

I am not looking to sue or file any sort of class action legal action against Ford and their doccumented design flaw, but some form of financial consideration is in order.
