I am a former tenant of (Personal Information Removed). The house has thin walls. The ceiling and walls are developing cracks from where it is settling. I can hear the neighbor’s loud music and partying. Dogs bark nonstop through the night. The train sounds like it is next to us. The back yard stays wet. It does not drain well and mosquitoes are plenty. Kids drive four wheelers and dirt bikes in the empty lots behind our house. I have had to call the cops several times due to this. The kids also have torn up mail boxes and thrown them in the street. My other neighbor’s truck had his chrome siding stolen. C2C Rental Company has also been very shady with us. For the past year, I have been under the assumption that the lady that whose name is on the lease for this company was working for them. She has been picking up the rent from my mailbox every month for a year. C2C called me two months before my lease ended and stated they would send out a letter for lease renewal but never sent it. I got into contact with the lady that is on my lease and she said to write a notice that said the lease would not be renewed. She told me she would pick it up like the rent checks. She never came and wouldn’t answer her cell phone. So I called the company office and was told to write an email instead. Next thing I know I am being told that lady doesn’t work for C2C Rental Company and she is just allowed to rent out the house. Even though she was notified about the lease termination it didn’t count and I would have to pay a prorated amount to cover the lapse in 30 day notice of termination. I am not happy with this company or their property. Hopefully this will save someone else from a headache.
