Will not honor discount

Being new to DirectTv, I of course depended on their representative to explain things to me. There are many different packages, equipment offers and discounts, that I found it confusing. I was advised there was a $10 monthly discount upon signing up for autopay, which I did at the time of my order. However, now I am told that I was also supposed to sign up for paperless statements at the same time in order to receive this discount. No one ever mentioned paperless statements. I have tried to reason with them by phone and by email, however, they will not do the right thing for public relations and honor this discount. I see on the BBB website, there have been over 25000 complaints against DirectTv for one reason or another. I should have checked there first.
