I purchased a Safe Step Tub, for my StepFather. Promisses were made. After installation I found out that the promisses made were not true.
First item I asked if the tub could be filled while the door was open. I was assured that it could not, in other words the taps would not turn on.
Not true.
The main concern was that the door could not be opened when it had water in it. That also was not true.
I was purchasing this tub for my Step Father's on suite (he is 87 years old and has Alzheimers) and therefore I needed to know he would be safe.
I reported my concerns to the company and they offered to come and put in a on off water switch.
I had this tub installed Sept. 2012 and to this date they have not even sent any one out.
My StepFather is fighnted of the tub due to flooding when he in fact went to use it and he managed to open the door.
This man weighs all of 100lbs if that.
This tub comes with a life time warranty, at the cost of $14,500.00
