NW Trading Gun Safes made in China that are NOT UL rated & break easily

I have found about twenty other customers of this company around the nation, but mostly on the west coast, that have purchased gun safes from this company that is based out of Vancouver Washington. Every one of their customers has told me the same story i have to tell.
I bought my gun safe, the model t220 with a dial combination. The first problem i had was that the safe door would open if you turned the handles with enough strength. The safe was locked but you could open it if you turned hard enough on the handle. Not very good thing to have when you buy a gun safe to protect your items or to keep loved ones away from dangerous guns.
When i contacted tracker safe for help on this, they ignored my calls for about two weeks. The rep i spoke with was always too busy doing some kind of customer service calls on other businesses they own. When i finally got someone to help me they told me that i was out of warranty. The warranty is one year. The gun safe breaks within a year? So i contacted a locksmith to come out and fix the safe for me.
When the locksmith came out, he opened the safe door back and showed me how the metal they used was very thin and was actually bent before i ever tried to open the door. This is when i was shown how the locking mechanism dial was made in china and it was very loose on the nut and with just a bit of wiggle, he showed me how the dial would back off and the door would then be locked in place and would require drilling the door.
So he fixed the dial problem before it broke but told me that it was just a matter of time before that would happen. He explained the lock was a very cheap chinese version and poorly put together for the chinese safes he had seen elsewhere. This type of repair cost me $400. Are you kidding me. I was very upset with the fact that they may have known about this and still would not help me. I began searching the net for others that had bought the tracker junk gun safe.
I found many other people that had similar cases and some had even worse problems. One gentleman out of the midwest recently had to have the door drilled because the lock did actually do what might would have done and they couldn't get in. The tracker safe company also sells electronic locks that have failed on tons of the customers and then they started selling that they are carrying "la gard" locks. I went to a newly sold tracker safe 24 gun safe with an electronic lock that is supposed to be la gard UL made lock. We open his door and the locksmith told us that the lock is not a la gard, it is a chinese knock off of the lock. I guess la gard makes locks for different countries to be sold, problem is that they are not allowed to be called UL rated. These guys are huge liars and don't even make the gun safes they sell.
The gun safes are made in china by a huge safe manufacturer that mass produces junk. When the safes have problems they company here basically will not live up to the fake warranty they sell when you buy it.
The safes are cheaper in price than the american made gun safes, but it proves that you get what you pay for.
Be very careful to buy one of these cheap gun safes. The product is horrible quality and the business known as NW Trading, when you call them, does not intend to live up to the warranty which is useless.
You do not even get a low quality product for cheap. You get a piece of junk for a high price and nothing more.
