I applied online for a loan. Next thing I know I am receiving phone calls from a man who says his name is Adam Smith and that he is with payday land.com and that he is contacting me about my recent application about a loan. He told me I was approved for the loan amount but a security deposit was required first. He gave me the information about the loan and the payments and other basic information that a loan company would. I sent the security deposit through money gram like he advised me to. I gave the reference number to the money gram transaction and then was told that I needed to send the same amount as the first security deposit but only this time send it through western union. I was told that I would be refunded this amount and the reason for the me having to do another transaction for another security deposit is because I didnt include my middle name on the paperwork that I filled out with money gram. I need my money back for this cause I was ripped off and this is a scam.
