I have full coverage Allstate Home Owners Insurance... But when black mold from a leak under my bath tub (and behind a wall) was discovered because it was leaking down into the condo below mine (and ruining their carpet and walls), I was told by my Allstate agent that leaks are not covered unless discovered immediately. How are leaks supposed to be discovered immediately if they are behind walls? This is a clear "loop hole" to get the big insurance companies from paying up when the policy holder needs repairs. ALLSTATE IS A CLEAR RIP OFF!!! I should not be living in my home until the mold has been removed and repairs completed, yet I do not have sufficient funds to make the repairs, so this US Vet is going to be homeless and possibly even lose my house! I just want Allstate to have the black mold removed and required repairs completed so I can live safely in my home.
