Update... It has been almost four months and my issue has not been resolved. After all the efforts, I got an email couple of days back stating "cause of water damage is unknown", and so the insurance company won't pay for my damages. I don't understand that if the cause is unknown then why am I not compensated for my loss. It should be a known cause (my fault or natural disaster as the policy states) which should be denied.
Anyhow, just wanted to give you all an update that PODS and insurance company are just spinning the wheel and have not resolved my issue. It has become a big headache for me and I would never ever rent a PODS unit again. I would be better off with spending few hundred more dollars and have a professional moving company do it for me.
