I received 2 gifts purchased from a walmart out of town. I am unable to use and wanted to exchange for a gift card or something i can use. I was told (from costumer service) that the items are not from my local store they do not carry them and without a receipt they could not tell me which walmart the items were purchased from. The person i received them from had told me he had bought them at walmart so i could return them if there was a need to. I have tried to contact the the gift giver and am unable to find him or find out which walmart i can return them to for credit. Why must they have the receipt to inform me where to return them to as the items on receipt had to be scanned from the items themselves. What am i to do?
