I changed my address as instructed at The Check Cashing store where I got my Visa debit momentum card and get my payroll check direct deposit. I purchased hay for my horses from a small store and the zipcode came back as invalid so I gave the merchant my previous address zipcode and Tim said that worked. I have an app on my phone and saw it was taken out twice the amount 108.70 for British Hay. I called Tim and he said it should be back on my card with in hours. Now 5 days later I am being tols by Momentum that the money will be back on my card in 11 days!? I took a paper autorization release form from the check cashing store to the vendor and because he does not have a merchant card number they will not return my money for 11 days. They admitted they were wrong not having my address updated at Money Mart as they see it was changed at the check cashing store. I was also told they do not have sophisicated equipment and agreement to wotk with the banks to refund money quickly. Really... My money is sitting somewhere getting interest. I do pay a service charge of $10.00 a month service fee perhaps use that for better communication. The website for Momentum advertise that are Federal regulated... Gee that sounds bank related. I will tell EVERYBODY NOT to get a VISA MOMENTUM CARD at THE CHECK CASHING store. 866-914-6051 the last person was an manager Penny who was of no help. As soon as I receive my money back I will be closing this card. I get charged interest when I borrow money for two weeks, I feel Momentum should pay interest for holding my money for almost two weeks. Thank you for letting me vent.
