1/4 They represented themselves to my wife as representatives of Dell Computers. My wife thought she was dealing with Dell and agreed to a 2 year, "$249.99 fix any Dell computer, any time" contract. Later called a Dell number for help and found out this was a scam. After many hours on the phone, being on hold, waiting to talk to "a manager", having her calls dropped she got someone to finally agree to refund $199.99 saying that they'd have to keep $50.00 for the ONE TRANSACTION (NOTHING done to resolve the original problem!!!). Then, with no further interaction or authorization, another $59.99 was charged the same day to the card she'd used. 1/8 She calls and gets the run-around with a promise that "they'd take it to the manager and get back to her in a few days". Screw that, they just want to wear you down. So I went to our bank and gave them the honest truth. Bank says since she had authorized the original $249.99 and they'd refunded the $199.99 the bank couldn't reverse the charge. So I filled out a form to reverse the unauthorized $59.99 charge (that cost me a $30 fee) and canceled the card she'd used and ordered a new one for the wife. Bottom line; at the moment it looks like we're out a total of $79.99 by these thieves as long as the $59.99 gets reversed/canceled. Otherwise we'll be out $139.98. The greatest gift we give one another is TRUST, MYTECHHELP.com is the worst kind of scum!
