VIP Nation / New Orleans Arena
Consumer Report

I paid 3,000 for 2 front row VIP tickets for Madonna in New Orleans on 10/27. We did not know where we were sitting until the night of the concert.
At best we were on the 50 yard line & would have needed binoculars to actually see the stage. However something far worse happened to me at the hands of the Madonna Security Men.
First of all, I am a Handicapped 55 year old woman & had recent Bilateral Knee Replacement surgery. Appropriately 20 Min into the show I placed a pair of Mardi Gras beads on the extended stage at approximately the 50 yard line. Madonna was no where near this part of the stage. Two of Madonna's Security guards physically pulled me out of my seat, pulled me outside of the arena leaving beuises all over my right arm, & put me outside of the arena alone. They told my partner I would return. They did not allow me to bring my car keys, ID, coat, money, credit card, medications, cane, or cell phone. Consequently I had no way to get home & I was forced to stand in the cold until the end of the concert. I met my partner next to my vehicle which was parked in the Handicapped Section. It was freezing outside. My knees were hurting & I did not have an medication. It was all in my purse which was underneath my seat.
The Madonna Security men did not follow the arena security procedure which would have required them to write an incident report. They told my companion I would return. The arena did not have a record of what they did.
I was terrified & in severe pain outside the arena alone... On a deserted side of the street. I couldn't even sit in my vehicle since I did not have keys. I have a MD statement which shows I cannot stand for over 10 minutes. I also had bruises all over my upper arm. I called the police to report what happened but they would not file a police report since I didn't know the identity of Madonna's Security Men who harmed me. I was not intoxicated & certainly didn't fight back. When I called the box office arena to inquire about our terrible 3,000 "first row" tickets, the first person told me our tickets were changed a day before the performance but the box office manager told me I would need a court order to get him to release the seating chart. I do have photos of the 2 men who hurt me. I was in contact initially with Alan Freeman the director of the arena who directed me to the VIP risk manager in Beverly Hills, Mirtha Rayburn out of Beverly Hills, California.-Claims Administrator at Live Nation-323-769-4828

Ms Rayburn talked to each of us only once. She would not reveal the name of the men who harmed me & would not agree to any sort of refund. Basically we spent 3,000 to be abused & misled. They also showed in their communication that they were Better Business Bureau Certified & Recommended when in actuality they had an "F" Better Business Bureau Rating. Mr Freeman of the arena states I must pursue my treatment & concert concerns with VIP Nation.
Ms Rayburn is their representative & they will not do anything.
