Store Location: CK Arundel Mills Mall, Hanover, MDI was given a leather ck jacket for Christmas. The size was too small and I wanted to exchange the jacket for a bigger size. However, the next size was cut too big for me. There was no comperable product so I wanted to return the jacket for a refund. I was told that I could only receive store credit with a gift receipt. The amount did not fit on one gift card so I now have multiple gifts cards in my wallet. When I got home, I found the original purchase receipt in laying in the trash can. I called the local ck store and was told that the manager will call me the next day. After 3 days I had to call them back. I explained that I found the original receipt and would like to turn the gift cards in for my cash. I was told they would not refund my money because “we want you to spend the money in our store.”Spending money in this store is not the issue. I spend a lot of money there and I have a preferred member card. I have been a loyal customer for many years and I am highly appalled at not having my phone call returned and being put on the low end of the priority list. This store stole money out of someone’s pocket and now I am forced to spend it in the store. This will be the last time I ever purchase anything from ck again. It is very sad that such a reputable company must go this low to make a buck. I would like to this policy in black and white.
