I saw an ad on the internet for a free sample of a skin care product. I only had to pay the delivery charge. I ordered the product and paid the delivery with my visa. A couple of weeks later the mail man came to my door with a package I did not order. I told him I did not order that product. He said that all I had to do was to sign that I was returning it. That was a mistake. This company, Fulfilment lab had already charged my account. Having not received the package and sent it back by registered mail, I had no proof that is was returned. I called Visa to find out what I could do about it. They could do nothing because I had no proof. They gave me a number to call, advising me to discuss with the company and inform them that I had sent the product back, so I am requesting a refund. I tried the number several times.
Each time I got a recording saying that the number was invalid. I called back Visa to verify the number. They confirmed that the number I had dialed was the number that they had on record. They gave me an email address and advised me to send them an emailrequesting that I did not want to receive their product any longer and that they should stop charging my account.in the meantime, I have to pay the 79.00 that they charged me, even though I had not used the product. I would like to know how I could retrieve this money. It is just not right.
