Consumer Report

Ordered & phone & minutes to replace damaged phone we had with straight talk—received the phone on 12/1 & after spending over 6 days & in excess of 9.5 hours on the phone with them, they wanted to ship another phone—I agreed to this providing they sent it overnight. When the phone was not received by the next afternoon, I called them to find out why—they then said would NOT ship another phone until they got theirs back (just got the return shipping label that afternoon) & they would not overnight—I then asked for a refund & advised will return the broken phone back to them. I advised them I no longer needed their service—if I could "do without the phone for that length of time, I sure didn't need it at all". They advised me when they got the phone back, "I might get my refund the 45 days or so"-I disputed the charges via the bank on that day (12/7 & put the phone in the FedExp drop box that evening). I told everyone I talked to NOT to send another phone & to issue a refund because their service was no longer required & darned if when they received that phone, they shipped another one (I received it on 12/14)—I called them on 12/14 or 12/17 again to advise that I did not want the phone as I had stated before & needed another return shipping label to send the second phone back to them. The supervisor said she would email one & it could take up to 10 days to receive & she told me several times I would NOT get a refund, when I asked her why, she stated that it was to replace another phone. I told her that "the other phone was a phone they sent to me that was broken from the onset" & that I had spent many hours on the phone with them & had told them repeatedly, I did not want another phone from them since they did not overnight one. I have now gotten the the second shipping label & could not print it due to an error, I called FedExp & was advised the zip code did not match the State & I would have to call Straight Talk back to get it corrected. So another 1/2 hour of my time wasted due to their inaptitude. Hopefully I will get the 3rd shipping label in a few days. They actually think I should let them keep my $ for their poor equipment & lack of ability to do things right the first time. See the copy of shipping label—I live in Mississippi & our zip code does not start with a "4"!!!
