This is an ongoing problem with KOBO. So far I've purchased 200 books from KOBO and up until about Aug-Sept. Had no problems. Now however I've got 10 books so far that I've paid for but, unfortunatly, other than the cover picture and table of contents there are no words. That's right, no kidding, the pages are blank. So call and complain you say. Ah, if it were only that simple, they no longer talk phone calls. And when I try to complain at their sight online I have to pay $30 through credit card to lodge the issue. Now tell me folks, when I've already lost money why would I risk more. And more importantly why would an honest company make it so difficult for their customers. I have loyally recommended KOBO sinse the begginning because I was happy with the product and with Kindle I had to have a credit card. Most assuredly, I have re-thought this stance. So for anyone that has bought Kobo on my recommendation, I am truly sorry. I've asked for a kindle for christmas.
