January 3rd, 2025. Brandon Proctor, Manager of the Edinger Branch, and Ryan Sheehan, Vice President at Bank of America, appeared to have lied to me. They promised a resolution and played the role of nice guys while stonewalling me for six months. Bank of America lacks customer service and shows zero empathy.
After five weeks, I still did not have a resolution regarding the charge for the use of my $15,000.00. I had no access to any of my accounts, including credit or debit cards, and no access to my investment accounts. Today, once again, it started with an attempt to collect a debt (my credit card in arrears, LOL), which transitioned into one hour of being on hold, transfers, and speaking with people who couldn't help.
Bank of America is incompetent from top to bottom, especially the fraud department. I was in Paris, France, and I am now in Rosarito, Baja, Mexico. On June 3rd, I received a text that a huge withdrawal had taken place from my account. I verified it was not authorized by me. A known (to Bank of America) fraud had taken place, and my checking and savings accounts were drained to zero. I called Bank of America's fraud department. Eighteen hours later, I was stuck in Holland with little cash and no working debit or credit card. The Bank of America fraud number now rejected my phone call. I tried to make an appointment for Monday, the 23rd. I was locked out. I called the fraud department for help. They tried to make the appointment for me, but their system was down, and they could not make an appointment.
I am now trying to reach Holly O’Neil, President of Retail and Private Banking.
