Bank Of America
Caused personal injury beyond repair to employee ripoff

Personal Injury
My health has been damaged beyond repair, I have experienced pain & suffering, loss of wages for the last 5 years on my career, and extreme anxiety and depression. I must live for the rest of my life with all of this personal injury.
Please read and put yourself in my place. Please help me if you can. If you are unable to help, maybe you can tell me who can help me.

TO: Whom It May Concern

Please advise next steps.

BANK OF AMERICA created a high stress and hostile work environment that caused physical and financial injury to me beyond repair.

Sequence of Events

I worked for BANK OF AMERICA for 12 years in middle management.in these 12 years, I had 2 heart attacks and was living and working with congestive heart failure with about 1/3 of my heart capacity left, along with emphysema and 50 years of diabetes. I was 61 years of age and was going to work until I was 66 years old, only 5 more years.

My health was doing very well and I was feeling great with no problems, until Event-1.

EVENT-1-November I had a performance review meeting with my BANK OF AMERICA mangers for what I thought would be a routine performance review. Since I had been in bank management myself, I knew that bank managers are taught to work with their staff throughout the year to talk about any performance issues and not wait until year-end to shock and surprise people with issues they knew nothing about.

In this meeting, there were no smiles, no words of encouragement and no positive talk at all. I felt like I was in front of a firing squad and there was nowhere to run. I was told I was one of the highest paid people in the group and that I was one of the highest performers in th group, but my performance wasn't good enough and I was being placed on termination watch.

I was one of the highest performers and my management ambushes me? I was told I was on termination watch to see if I improved. If I didn't improve, I would be terminated. I had never been treated this unfairly and spoken to that ugly in my 40 year career. Sometimes you just know that something totally unfair is going on, and you just know that you are the target.

I was ambushed. Michael T Carter and Susan Beth Thurman without a doubt created a very high-stress and hostile work environment for this 61 year old man so they could push me out of my job because of my age, the same way BANK OF AMERICA does many older people. BANK OF AMERICA seems to want us baby boomers to bank with them, but they don't want us working for them.

This ambush completely blind-sided me, and I was absolutely traumatized, in extreme shock, and devastated beyond words. Needless to say, at this point in my life, I like many others were working with fragile health issues. Not many people knew this so I kept it quiet so I could hang on for just 5 more years.in this meeting, I began having chest pains, shortness of breath, and became very dizzy. When this attack was finally over and as I walked away from thi s meeting, I almost fell to the floor more than once!

I had severe chest pains and shortness of breath, and feared for my life each day as I went back into this office. This was a living hell for me, and I feared for my life. My chest pains took me to see my cardiologist to find out that this extreme shock and devastation to my health and my career, I had suffered another heart attack, My cardiologist immediately put me on medical disability. My cardiologist said we were not going to allow BANK OF AMERICA to kill me.

After a few months of medical disability with nothing but rest, my cardiologist thought with my congestive heart failure and this extreme shock and trauma, it would be in my best interest to have heart surgery.

EVENT-2-March extreme shock and heart trauma led me to heart surgery.

EVENT-3-April After leaving the hospital and while I was in recovery, I developed a fever and an infection that with each passing day my body got weaker and weaker, and I noticed my foot became red and swollen with infection. I went to more than one doctor to evaluate my condition, and my doctor sent me to the hospital emergency room to be admitted, in the hospital again the second time in 3 weeks. My infection was tested and diagnosed and it was determined that I got the foot infection from my heart surgery stay in the hospital.

I was taken to the hospital emergency room with sepsis (septic shock) and when I arrived, I was sitting in a wheel-chair in the emergency room, I could not get my body warm, I was shaking so badly that I could barely stay in the wheel-chair, confusion, and then I began throwing up in the emergency room floor. I was rushed to an emergency room and was placed on 3 different kinds of extremely strong antibiotics in an effort to save my foot. My foot continued to get worse, and a foot surgeon came to talk to me about the possibilities of loosing my foot.

It was decided for the foot surgeon to take me to surgery and save my foot, if possible. The foot surgeon thought he could save my foot, but had to amputate my most infected toe. I was given 3 different heavy antibiotics 24-hours a day.in the period of 4 days, my foot finally did respond to the antibiotics, I lost 10 pounds, was in extreme pain, and was extremely weak. I could barely walk, but the hospital sent me home. I could not sleep at night because of the nightmares of the November extreme shocking and traumatic attack that I was put through by BANK OF AMERICA.

I then developed deep depression with severe anxiety attacks. I would wakeup screaming at night in absolute fear for my life. My doctor put me on anxiety/depression medication, and my cardiologist put me on additional cardiac medicine.

Since November while on medical disability, BANK OF AMERICA had their human resource staff continue to call me for interrogation meetings.in these meetings, the extreme trauma, chest pains, shortness of breath, and fear for my life would always return, so while trying to talk with these people I would take additional heart medication. I even had to tell them I could not speak with them any longer. BANK OF AMERICA harassed me, and I believe they were trying to kill me.

EVENT-4-September After lengthy discussions with my cardiologist, we agreed for me to be released from medical disability to try to work again, but not to return to work for BANK OF AMERICA. BANK OF AMERICA offered for me to return to work for them. That is like a lion trying to get a lamb to come into his den. With what BANK OF AMERICA did to me, I chose not to return to work for BANK OF AMERICA because I feared for my life. Currently, I still have shortness of breath and chest pains even when I hear the name of BANK OF AMERICA or even go near one of the their buildings.

BANK OF AMERICA did try to kill me and did take away my last 5 years of compensation, and did cause me and my fmily a great deal of financial hardship.
I have asked BANK OF AMERICA several times for a financial settlement, and I have been ignored. What BANK OF AMERICA did to me damaged my health beyond repair, in addition to the pain and suffering I went through and have today. BANK OF AMERICA damaged my health and I have to live with damaged health for the rest of my life.

I also have requested my retirement pension money from BANK OF AMERICA and they have ignored me.

None of this would have happened if BANK OF AMERICA had just shown me some integrity in my November performance review, and lived up to the BANK OF AMERICA slogan of Higher Standards.

Had it not been for EVENT-1, the other events would not have happened.
Bank of America caused Event 1, and Event-1 caused events 2,3, 4, to happen.

My goal is to accomplish two things:
1&To have BANK OF AMERICA pay me a substantial financial settlement for damaging my health beyond repair, pain and suffering, and my last 5 years of compensation.
2&Expose the truth about BANK OF AMERICA to local media, national media, state/federal agencies who might publish this personal injury story. I want this story presented to as many law firms as I can in hopes that someone would put themselves in my shoes and take this case and fight BANK OF AMERICA for the health damage they caused me beyond repair, the pain and suffering they caused me, and my last 5 years of compensation that BANK OF AMERICA took away from me and my family.
