Randall Robinson Code #1121
Called to upgrade phones and try to get a better monthly rate (10-year customer).
1st Issue: I was told that if I were an AARP member, my rate would be $50.00. The next day, I signed up with AARP, called customer care back, and was then told it's only a 5% reduction.
2nd Issue: I bought 2 new phones after being told the "current promotion" allowed for a $299 price for each. When the shipment arrived, the work order paper stated the cost is $599 each, a $600 discrepancy.
Customer service said they would escalate the issue to upper management, but I am still affected no matter the resolution. Please listen to the "recorded for quality control" phone call and confirm what was said. As a 10-year customer, I think I deserve that at a minimum. Once the phones are returned and the credit card payment is refunded, I will be switching to a new carrier.
