Comcast has the worst customer service and lie to customers. - Comcast cable and Internet

I had an account with comcast in a condo I was living in for 2 years and always had trouble. My husband and I bought a house and decided to try again with them. They. And to set up during our move and when they left nothing worked, no tv no Internet. I called the company to get help with the Internet and it still didn't work after a 2 hour phone call they said someone needed to come out to service it. Okay.
My husband then gets a call when he answers he is on hold. Who does that? They were calling to confirm the service visit. Ok fine confirmed. They called the day to say they were coming and never showed up.in the mean time we have no service for 2 weeks now.
We decided to try another company which has been great. We told Comcast we were just canceling the service and they could get there equipment when they were in the area. They called my husband and he left it for them to pick up. They told my husband everything was fine we will not be charged anything. Well guess what a week later a bill showed up so we called again and were told not to worry about it. Then another week later someone showed up to get the equipment. So another call was made and again we were told everything was fine so we let it go.
Here is the kicker we get a call from collections stating we owe for the box and the bill for service never received. They are awful please do not use them.
