I have had comcast internet now for just over 3 months and i'm already sick of it.
The first of many problems was when they were supposed to come set it up, they were supposed to be here the day my old internet company was shutting off my service. They never showed up to set up my service and i had to wait 2 weeks for them to get another person out to my house and it left me without internet at the time.
When they finally did get someone out to my house. The man told me that i had to use one of their modems instead of my own. This modem was absolute garbage, this modem would constantly turn itself off at least once every hour. It took me a month before i found out that i could use a different modem if it was "comcast approved" so i got one and returned this piece of garbage.
Now to the internet service itself, its complete shit. The internet was SLOW and sometimes to a point of being unusable. I thought i was paying for high speed internet?
The internet is absolute shit when it worked, out of the 90 so days i've had comcast at least 1/4 of them the internet was out. When ever i would call customer service (i'll get to that next) they would always say "don't worry sir, we have our technicians working on the problem".
The last thing i want to talk about is the customer service. Its one of the most unproductive things i have ever witnessed. I have called them at least 25 times over the 3 months i have had this service and i would get one of 3 answers. Answer number 1 was "i'm sorry sir but i cant figure out your problem", number 2 "Have you tried resetting your modem?", number 3"um well um uh um well uh um well um uh".
Comcast is absolute shit do whatever you can to avoid this service. I will be canceling my service within the next 2 weeks and moving on to a new service and nothing that there customer service can say will convince me to keep their service.
