Sears Online... Ups... AntOnline.com (Take your Money and Run)
We have all of the names, dates and times, of every individual we spoke with during this process. And Voice Recordings of the last conversations with these companies and what they said they were going to do/not do. With SearsOnline and Antonline, it has been a different person everytime (10 plus). They do not take accurate notes or any notes at all, they do not read the notes or information they do have, and they do not follow up and when or if they do it is vague to nothing. UPS did do their best to contact ANTOnline several times to get them to initiate the shipping escalation and investigation process, because they were the shipper) but they never returned or answered their calls.
We purchased an all in one Teashop PC from SearsOnline.com on February 11. We recieved a confirmation from SearsOnline.com with a purchase number, paid for, and estimated delivery date of February 22. We gave our email address and contact information to them in case they needed to contact us, per their request.
We checked our email periodically and there was no other contact. On the 22, we waited all day and toward the end decided to call SearsOnline to find out what was going on. They stated the computer had been delivered by UPS, on Monday, Feb 20 and gave us the shipping number. We told SearsOnline we had not recieved the computer, or any notice there was a computer on its way or delivered. They said there was nothing they could do, blamed it on the 23rd party vendor, Antonline and said they would call them to find out what had happened. They would not give us their information to contact Antonline.
We called UPS prompt (that day) and they got back with us promptly, a manager, said they had delivered the item on the front porch. Said the shipper had stated on the instructions 'Deliverer to use discretion' of leaving the item at the house unclaimed. We never saw, recieved item or recieved confirmation of a shipment or delivery.
P.S. Do not use UPS! They do not follow up on delivery or care about your packages! They are probably sitting at home watching their favorite show on YOUR TV as we speak.
We called Sears back and told them what UPS had said, THAT DAY! They said they would let ANTOnline know about it and have them begin an investigation. They at this point gave us a contact name and telephone number for Antonline. We called, that day, and never recieved a return call from that number or person.
We called Sears the following week to see what was happening. They were not aware of the first call. I had to re tell my story again. They said they would follow up with Antonline and ask them to open an investigation. They suggested it was ANTOnline
At no time did we recieve notification of our item being shipped or delivered from SearsOnline or Antonline.com.
We continued to call SearsOnline and Antonline every business day and were passed from one person to another, no one takes responsibility. Each blaming the other company. This is the most frustration and infuriating experience I have ever encountered and will be sure never to order online again due to this nightmare of an experience.
3/5: Peter said they were not going to do anything about this. It is our responsibility to do something. They said UPS delivered the item and they had no further responsibility. I told them UPS had contacted them several times to get Antonline to open an investigation and he said he didn't care about that and the stolen computer was our problem. They had no liability in the issue. These people are horrible. Do not do business with them. I will give you every name and person I dealt with and a hundred reasons why you should stay away. Just ask and I will deliver! The owner of this company is Charles Comerford. Do not do business with his company in anyway or Searsonline.
