I was doing some online paid surveys, a credit survey popped up so I proceeded to take it. Near the end of the survey it asked if I wanted a free 7 day trial. First I said no, but it informed me if I left the page I wouldn't receive my free 1,000 gift card from WALMART, so I returned and they asked me to fill out credit card information and I did. When I got to the bottom of the page I read the terms and conditions. It stated that after seven day trial I would be charged if I didn't cancel the trial period, which I forgot to do because of all the pop ups they keep you busy with.
I feel like even if it was my fault I should be entitled to my money back. Last time I checked that charge to my debit card should be null and void. According to the law services must be rendered for payment. I received no services nor did I want their services. All I wanted was a free 1,000 gift card and I didn't get that. They took 19.95 for services not rendered, and i'm not entitled to my cash back? Humph!!! What a total ripoff.
