I called AOL to begin internet service for 60 days free. I was very happy w / the CS I recieved. I was offered a deal for a program called "Galleria". I was told I got 30 days free and that I would receive a welcome packet w/in a week. I was told that whether or not I decided to remain a member that I was GUARANTEED A $50 Walmart gift card! I said/asked —"so no matter whether or not I continue to remain a member after my Free 30 days—I will still get my $50 walmart gift card? YES!!! I was told! I called them when I received a small 2 page 'flyer' which never came until until 4 days after my so called -FREE 30 DAY TRIAL had expired! — which I wasnt able to use cause I didnt even know what the membership entitled me to. I called that day (as I said, my free trial had expired) and I asked them about my walmart gift certificate and was told Id be sent the survey to complete, because I had already sent in the card from the small 2 page info flier, and Id have my $50 walmart gift certificate, as soon as I filled out the survey. Well its been almost 3 months since I was sucked into to this and have NO IDEA WHAT THE GALLERIA PRORAM IS ALL ABOUT NOR HAVE I BEEN ABLE TO USE IT!!! When you get your 1ST flier, you fill out a card and then you are supposed to receive your survey - (Thats why I called and was told, my survey was on the way-) instaed I received a Duplicate flier, with another, of the identical card to, once again, Receive the survey I was supposed to get after sending in the 1st one, and calling to complain, to be lied to again! By the time they send me my gift card, they'll probably have tried to get at least the, $50 in monthly fees until I get my gift card, but they will not get away with lying to me, Ill let yo know how I make out!
