I'm Having Problems with AP9, too

I've had several charges from companies charging through AP9 whether or not I authorized them, it is often hard to decern and I often don't remember signing up for whatever I was charged for. I think that they are associated with a lot of companies associated with a lot of the endless consumer surveys promising free this or that on the internet. Like a free gift card for Wal*Mart which is a legitimate business, but the survey is just a fraud trying to get you signed up for yet more junkmail and to confuse you and me even more.

I had one charge in mid-May that I had no idea of who the company was and I didn't remember signing up for their program, but a charge for $49.99 went through my card and I didn't remember that company's name. It had AP9* in front of it.

I wanted to try out an online Dollar Shop for the trial period price of $1.97. So, I went to the email that I received in my email box and clicked on the link. When I got through signing up for it and got ready to leave the website, a 'robot' that claims to be a 'real person' and looks and sounds like a real person except some things you might say it doesn't really respond to.

It talked me into signing up for some programs saying that I'd get a $25 gift card from Wal*Mart and a 7 day free trial of each program. Only they didn't tell me where to go to try out the free trial of the program nor where to go or what number to call to cancel each membership. So I got no free trial and last week, the first $14.95 showed up on my charge card and today, a second $14.95 shows up on my credit card. Fortunately, I found this website by typing 'AP9' into a search engine. And I saw all of these reports on AP9.

So I called up my credit card's phone number on the back of the card and tried to get all future charges from AP9* blocked, but I don't know if I was successful and the credit card company gave me the phone number for each of the companies prefixed with AP9*. So, I've called each of those companies and cancelled everything and they say that they are going to refund the money. I'll wait and see if they do or don't do that. I don't really know. I'ven't gotten any free $25 Wal*Mart gift cards in the mail yet though.

The online dollar shop is real and you do get to try it out for 2 weeks for $1.97. If you still want to try that out go to http://miserdollarstore. Mydollarshop.com and sign up for that knowing that they say that they'll charge you $39.99 a month after the trial period is up, which it is up in my case, but I've yet to see that charge show up and the dollar store is still there, but be ye warned. A 'robot' will come online and try to get you to sign up for yet other programs promising you $25 Wal*Mart gift cards for each one and you'll think your getting pretty rich off of those Wal*Mart gift cards, but instead you are signing up for yet more charges that will go through AP9* for something you won't understand what it is, nor will you really get a 'free trial' of their program (s) nor will you want to continue the program once the charges start showing up on your credit card. So, do your best to ignore the 'robot' and get out of that program as fast as you can and don't respond to it. You'll regret it very much and very badly.

It sounds like from what I see hear, AP9* is a company you don't wish to be dealing with.

Bye.
