AppleCare reported that my computer was running too hot and overheating. They said my computer was melting inside. Within one month of purchase, I took the computer to the Apple store twice. Both times, I was told there was nothing wrong with the computer. I was told the fans would start spinning faster the first time I took it in, but the fans never went any faster. The second time I took it in, I was told by the "genius" Scott that the fans are not supposed to change speed. He refused to take my computer out of the box. I purchased an extended warranty, but this is still within the standard one-year warranty, and they won't even look at it. Tim ONeil Corporate Executive Relations from Apple has reported that it stands by its "genius" who never looked at the computer. They didn't say anything about the AppleCare representative who said my computer was melting inside. The AppleCare representative who made my appointment for the second trip to the Apple store to meet with the "genius, " Scott. I paid a lot of money for a defective computer. I paid a lot more for an extended warranty. AppleCare and Apple Store Fresno, CA can't get their stories straight.
