I have a 2010 macbook which was giving me problems because the fan was making an annoying noise. So I decided to take it to Apple for a fix to give them business (even though I knew it was cheaper to buy it off of amazon and fix it myself).
Previously when I had called apple service phone numbers, they told me I had no warranty on the computer. When I went to the apple store they said I had warranty, and if it wasn't good it would be an estimated 185$ to fix.
When they call me back on the day they said it would be done, they said it was out of warranty and it would cost 700$ to fix because the logic board was ruined as well... When I finally get the computer back from them, IT WONT EVEN START! I definitely didn't have any problems similar to that until THEY had it.
