I signed up for at&t dsl in late may. I was told I would received a $100 rebate for the modem I purchased, It's now September and no rebate (even after 3 phone calls). They said I could merge my cell phone bill with my internet bill to have one bill that would draft at the once. I sign up. Since that time I have had nothing but issues.in July I noticed that my cell phone bill was not drafted so I called to make the payment by phone, I was told that since it was combined I would have to make the payment with the internet side, so they transfer me. After explaining the situation, they inform me that they are not showing that I have that bill, I ask, beg them to take the payment and give me a credit cause I know the bill is out there and I would rather have a credit than a huge bill the next month. THE REFUSE TO TAKE MY MONEY!!! The next bill I receive from them is for $740!!! Apparently not only is the 250 bill (i tried to pay, but they refused payment), but there was 2 other bills they didn't send out to me. So after a very frustrating 1 & 1/2 hour conversation, I make payment arrangements. I call the automated system to make a payment, well it drafts $220 too much! So once again I call to get it refunded. It seems they can take it out of my account in 1 day, but it take 3 days to return it! Well 4 days go by and still no refund, so once again I call, only to be put on hold for 22 minutes (I called at 4:40pm) @5:02pm someone picks up and hangs up on my w/o saying anything! So I call back in the morning since they are closed now, and 1st call im on hold for 15 minutes and get hung up on. I call back and Finally get ahold of Anita Smith, well guess what she hangs up on me too. I'm finished with at&t.
I highly urge everyone to steer clear for AT&T, they may be cheaper than some competetors, but they will mess EVERYTHING up and NOT do anything they say.
