I won an auction from this company, which I paid for on October 6, through paypal. I paid using a bank draft. I bought a cd-rw drive, which I received in mid-October. It did not work. I had to email the company approximately 15 times and they were EXTREMELY uncooperative in providing what they call tech support, which is actually stalling and refusing to replace defective products. I finally got them to agree to take it back for a replacement, which, as of January 20, I have yet to receive.
I have entered into direct negotiation through the squaretrade site, but they are no longer communicating. They say that because i filed a buyer complaint through the paypal site, i am eligible for a chargeback and they will not ship the product until this is no longer the case, which they say will be another six to 12 months.
I have repeatedly informed them that not only did I not file for a chargeback, but a buyer complaint, which is completely different, but also that I paid with a bank draft, not a credit card, which makes me ineligible for a chargeback anyway. They are no longer responding to my requests to resolve the situation. They have my money and i have no cdrw drive. It has been over three months. There is no phone number to call them.
