I've been a Gold Member for 3 year's now, and when I renewed my last membership (yesterday) I made a point of un-checking the "Auto Renew" box, but then when I clicked the pay now box the next screen came up confirming my renewal, AND that I had chosen Auto Renewal!
I tried 4 times to return to the site to correct this to no avail! I too believe their practices are less than honorable, especially their trying to force auto renewal options on people, and making you un-check their other services.
As to the person who blasted the person here for not reading the fine print... Think about this: Why would any company use fine print? If their terms are up front and honest, they wouldn't be using fine print!
