Purchased a Shecom 512MB SDRAM 133 Memory at Fry's Electronics in Los Angeles, California on Jun 20,03. The memory was $20 rebate promotion. It has been almost 6 months and never received any rebate ever since. Called so many times, but their excuses were either the PLU was missing. There was not ever an PLU sticker on the memory package. But I had submitted a photo copy of an entire PACKAGE together with rebate app. As directed by Fry's Electronics. They accepted it.
Rebate center representatives were VERY VERY rude. They hung up the phone on me, refused to direct the call to supervisor, or just simply lied to you just to get you off the phone. Be very aware of who you are talking to, take down their name and ext. Number. If you don't wait long enough or punch enough buttons just to get to the rebate center, you will be speaking only to a answering machine forever.
Memory itself wasn't great either. It reads slower and hung your computer very often.
Hope we can gather enough people and file a "Class A" Action to this company.
