I have a Dell Inspiron 2600 notebook which I purchased from Cardinal Computers which got it from Dell and it has had hardware problems over and over and isn't really a good laptop very slow proccessor! My 400mhz off brand desktop gallops alot faster than it does!
The first problem I had with it was the Harddrive went out which was a 20 GB HDD. It just wouldnt recognize it so I send it to Cardinal and they had Dell send in another one but the one they sent back to me was 18.6 GB! I know it's a few GBs less but still!
Then shortly after this the motherboard went out and I had to send it back out there and it came back and now it's missing 8 mbs from the 128 rams! Dang it. Now I gotta go back to Cardinal and have them send it back to them to fix it!
I think I have a laptop which was one of Dell's Bad Batches or discarded ones! Because the processor hasn't gone faster than my 400mhz desktop at all! I only got a few months of Warranty on it now so I'm wondering what should I do get the ram fixed and then sell it which would leave me with a balance of 800 on a loan taken out to purchase it! And I wouldnt get much out of it to buy another computer!
Is there anything I can do to get them to just gimme a new Dell Inspiron 2600 just like this one only not out of the bad batch or discarded bin! Please help me out here!!
