The situation arose when I purchased rims for a 2004 Maxima by the description & pictures off of Ebay. The seller's name was Jon Nico Canino. When I spoke with Jon he said that the rims a nine out of ten. Perfect in every way except for one of them.
The link for the rims on Ebay is: http://cgi. Ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBay ISAPI. Dll? ViewItem&sspagename=STRK: MEWAX: IT&viewitem=&item=280266786922
Mr. Canino stated 100% assurance. He stated the rims were in mint condition with no hard scratches or dents except for on one rim. When I got the rims, two of them had large gouges, not just one. Another one had a large dent. I believe it was due to poor packaging. I asked if I could return the rims and he refused.
I paid Mr. Canino extra for packaging. He stated that UPS packaged the shipment. I called UPS to put in a claim on the insurance for the dented rim and upon investigation, I found out that UPS did not package the shipment after all, the seller did. UPS denied the claim.
I feel that Mr. Canino misrepresented the condition of the rims as well as lied to me about the packaging. I feel that he has no integrity and acted in a fraudulent manner.
