I recently tried to purchase a 3 year membership to use Nero DVD burning software from Advance Telecom Inc. And downloaded the software and all was well for about 30 days.
Lo and behold, as I was trying to use the software again it would not open. I got a message that the trial period had ended.
I contacted Nero via email and was sent another website to download the software again which I did only to find out that it also was a trial period and having exhausted my trial vs. It did not open. I repeated the afore mentioned steps with Nero and explained in detail what had happened and received the following email.

Unfortunately, Nero does not offer a 3 years subscription.
It seems that you did not place your order directly on www.nero.com.
So, I am unable to provide you with your full version serial number, I regret.
Please contact your reseller directly to receive your serial number.

I then tried to contact PayPal only to find out they have no contact phone number, so I emailed them and explained the situation and much to my surprise, I didn't even get a response. They are not interested in my problem.
If I had used my Cr. Card I could have stopped the payment but PayPal is not interested in helping to stop criminals from stealing our money and therfore does not offer any protection or info to help stop these organizations nor do they care if you can't get your money back.
I don't know how to contact Advance Telecom Inc. As it is a scam operation and they cover their tracks very well but I can say that PayPal is not the safe operation they claim to be and if you intend to use them, I would suggest you try to contact them for some technocal information about you account or websites you might do business with.
PayPal is hidden behind the elctronic wall and is by no means a consumer user freindly organization. When they don't want to speak, all communications end right there and the "customer" is left in limbo with no recourse other than the one I am using now.
