I recently thought I was purchasing the latest version of Nero 8 DVD burning software so I could make backup disks for some of my kids movies as they tend to get scratched and become unuseable.
I searched for what I thought was the latest and best and then proceeded to use Paypal to pay for the purchase.
I received a receipt email from Paypal and I got a trial version of the software immediately after I had made the purchase so I thought all was well.
I also found out that Paypal had an incorrect delivery address for me at the time of purchase but that was OK because I know where it was going to and the person who lives there.
The trial software did not work properly and I contact both Paypal and the company I thought I had bought the software from. Paypal has to this day not responded to any of my emails about this and neither did the company. The trial period expired and I then had nothing. I did a search on the company and found other complaints had been made about them and using Paypal to buy things from them. I further found out that the email address that paypal had given was in fact a de-facto address that led to an email forwarding service called Swishmail.
So I am out of pocket, know I was only vere given a free trial version and Paypal is ignoring me.
My advice is to never buy anything through Paypal and definetely do not go anywhere near Advance Telecom Inc
