Stay away from Qwest!!!
Qwest is supposed to be a service oriented company, so I was surprised when I couldn't get my internet set up and no one at the company could be of any help. I was thrilled when I called to cancel and they ASSURED me that ALL charges would be waived since they had provided me NOTHING (except some headaches) and had wasted hours of my time while I sat on the phone listening to their abrasive hold music and advertisements.
I was more than a little shocked when they then sent me a bill for the full cost of service — the service they were unable to provide! When I refused to pay, they sent me to collection and forced me to pay or have my credit damaged. I cannot say enough terrible things about my experience with these people. They lied to me, patronized me, and then lied to me again. To top it off there are so many people working for this monster that no one seems to have any idea how to do anything or who to talk to in order to get things done. I know it is not the fault of the people working there, but rather is the fault of this heinous company and its practically criminal policies. If you're smart, you'll avoid them altogether. I wouldn't even buy their stock.
