I ordered xpantiviris online and was billed for an additional program that was not ordered that increased the cost almost 50%. The billing statement stated that the additional program was recommended and "bundled" with the antivirus program. I immediately decided to cancel the order and obtain a refund. The billing statement stated that no refunds would be made without contacting customer service.
I called 2 customer servicde numbers. The first call required holding 24 minutes and ended when a voice menu stated that the mail box was full and immediate disconnection. The second call required holding 27 minutes and ended the same as the first call. I contacted the credit card company's Dispute Resolution/Card Services office and their representative attempted to call billingservicesonline.com / xpantivirus.com and received the same response.
I will continue to persue this as a credit card dispute issue and with the State Attorney General's Office Consumer Protection Division. I believe that this pratice is fradulent at best and I would urge any potential consumer to avoid this company and any associated products.
