Rebate not honored & No answers why from Tiger after 2 months

We purchased a Sceptre X24WG LCD Monitor from Tiger Direct. They advertised that if you purchased this on 11-26 (only) you would receive a $50 rebate. We met ALL requirements for this rebate, and sent this in. We then received the monitor - which conveniently had a no-return policy once we received it. AFTER we received this, we were sent an email stating that our rebate could not be honored. The only reason given was:

I have a screenshot of the order confirmation when logged into the account which clearly shows this was purchased on the required date 11-26.
The attached invoice shows the correct date this was ordered (viewable when logged into the account, NOT through the link you are provided which somehow changes the date to the 27th.)

I also can provide a statement from my bank showing that the credit card authorization occurred on 11/26/07 from your company in the full amount of this purchase. This would not be possible if this purchase was made on 11/27/07.

The purchase is obviously for the advertised item
(Offer: $50 (USD) Mail In Rebate on the Sceptre x24wg-Naga 24-Inch Widescreen LCD Monitor (Black) - S197-2402 Manufacturer: Sceptre Technologies)

When viewing the status on this rebate, the claim only states this vague explanation: The order number found on the invoice/packing slip did not contain a qualifying purchase.

I requested from them a specific explanation as to why this order number is not being considered a valid qualifying purchase, when it appears to have met all rebate requirements in the rebate form from the site. They said a postcard would be received with this information. We received a postcard a week later which stated only "The order number found on the invoice/packing slip did not contain a qualifying purchase." I emailed Tiger support NUMEROUS times stating that we met all qualifications, and I want a legitimate reason why this did not qualify, and if they cannot provide more detail to me, I expect the $50 rebate honored. I have went back and forth through email with Tiger, and only get from them "We are still working with the rebate company, please be patient." I have called them and they tell me I have to email them. When I email them, I get no response, or have to hound them for days just to get "be patient".

The advertisement for the rebate is what influenced me to make this non-returnable purchase, and to make it on that specific date. I expect the rebate to be honored.

When I reply to their rebate email address, it returns as a non-valid email address. This appears as quite a scam to me.
