I officially bought a Vista Ultimate Update to install on my laptop. During the update process I was informed by the software that my harddisk had some errors and needed to be formatted. After doing so I completed the updateb ut upon registration I was informed that I had no update but a complete new install (while my disk had been formatted) The Microsoft helpdesk was not willing to help me so now I am stuck with a useless update tht costed me $500.
