Our newest criticism is the fact that after I purchased my RESTORED HP Pavillion a1477c at Costco I had been guaranteed a totally free update to Microsoft Vista when it arrived accessible (I purchased my device 11/07). After I attempted to update the update website recommended me that I required a POA that was on the Microsoft tag mounted on my Computer.
After I examined the Computer there is no Microsoft Tag on my Computer everywhere. Since I have didn't possess the 14 did get POA the program wouldn't approve my update.
After I reported to horsepower I had been fundamentally attached to horsepower Corporate Quality in Colorado, CO. They explained they might solve the problem and obtain back again to me quickly and offered me An Incident #. Once they didn't return to me, I named them again, offered them the situation #, and got exactly the same runaround, that Microsoft needed to solve issue and never horsepower... I don't think them... They're attempting to move the dollar to Microsoft... (what I believe occurred is their REFURBISHER forgot to reapply the Microsoft tag)... They did acknowledge they were having this issue with others likewise... But after many efforts I've not had great Customer Support from horsepower and that I WOn't ever but another item from them and certainly will inform everybody I can't TO PURCHASE FROM horsepower OR SMALL... Bob bostic... I'm interested to listen to if someone else has this problem with horsepower.
