Ashley Doyle contacted me after her ebay listings were pulled from ebay as well. I bid on an "Unworn New Blue topaz David Yurman Abion Ring sz 6 (#260082042704), " and won the auction.in the morning I went to pay for it, but ebay removed it. She called me and emailed me, told me that David Yurman corp. Had it removed because they want their jewelry sold only in stores. She appeared nice enough so I believed her. I sent her a money order for $400 for this ring and the other ring that was pulled and asked that she have them insured as well.
It took several weeks to receive the rings because she had to get them from somewhere else; she didn't even have them in her possession. When I finally received them, I could tell immediately that these were counterfeit. The craftsmanship was hideous, the pouches were fake, the polishing clothes were rags, and the certificates of authenticity were also fake copies.
I tried working this out amicably with Ashley but she said she never guarantees authenticity. However, ebay forbids the use of selling counterfeits and selling rules clearly state that sellers cannot use the name brand unless it is authentic. I took them to my jeweler and not only are they not David Yurman, but they are fake costume jewelry, not even worth $5.00.
I am using other means of rectifying this situation now and it does not involve her. Buyers BEWARE!
