On Tuesday, September 11, I won an auction for an Authentic David Yurman Ring. The seller, Andy Gordon / Ashley Doyle - ohmybyke, would only accept a money order for payment. The following day a money order was issued through the USPS in the amount of $107.99. I have a serial number for the money order, as well as a tracking number I used to mail this via FedEx the next day, Sept. 14th. I have made several attempts to contact the seller via email and neither one return my messages. I was told I would have this ring by Friday, Sept. 21 or Saturday, Sept. 22nd.
I am feeling very uncomfortable with this transaction and I stated that to the seller. I requested additional information on the seller through E-Bay where I obtained his phone number. I tried to reach him by phone and the number he provided is not in service. The phone number Ashley gave me goes right into voicemail and it says the voicemail is full, so I am unable to leave a message. I have saved all email correspondence from the seller so if you need anymore information, please let me know. I am very disappointed because this was a birthday gift for my wife.
Last Sunday, I phoned the Charleston SC Police Department and one of the officers drove to Ashley's home and confronted her. She told me she would mail out the ring this past week, but still NOTHING! She did tell me while the office was present, that the ring is AUTHENTIC. I wouldn't know since I don't have it! I just want my money refunded in full. If you check out their e-bay user ID, you'll see they are no longer a registered user and they have all negative feedback which they have now made private.
